Some people just move out of our lives without notice. They just fade away. Others move away leaving indelible marks of various emotions.
Those who we once regarded as closest seem no more that way. Sometimes that hurts, some times it doesnt matter but we always wonder why.
How is that we are strangers now inspite of having the thickest of friendships. How is that there is nothing to talk now, while days together werent enough then?
There are instances where we mistake a person for what he is. Give him more worth than he deserves. Well mistakes happen and we have to move on. The same with the others too.
Finally the only thing that matters in life is me. Something not worth me need not bother me.

Though I wouldn't agree that I am selfish. People do matter to me. People also matterED to me. Its just time and distance that does things to relationships. I am not sad. Nor are they. Life goes on... anyway.
A very dangerous topic, this one. Trust me, no one who hasnt been wronged would write this up. Thats the whole point , we wont realized until we've been wronged.

Sooooo True... Thats how exactly my closest of relations got away from me... And thats exactly how I felt... I looked back for him but never saw him... I waited for him but he never came... At the end of it all, it just makes me feel that I gave him more worth than he ever deserved... May be I'm wrong... Who knows... and who cares... As u said, its "me" that matters and its "me" that SHOULD matter...
